Click on the Start Button (ORB) and RIGHT Click on COMPUTER and select PROPERTIES as above

Click on CHANGE PRODUCT KEY

Enter the product key from your COA sticker - (be careful, 8's can look like B's and 6's can look like G's etc) - then click on NEXT

The COA Sticker should be stuck on the side of your computer case.

You must be online - Windows Vista/ Windows 7 will Activate

If Activation is successful the above dialog box will appear

Windows is now ACTIVATED !
